I gifted my daughter three days trip in Rome for her birthday. We stayed at Hotel Turner, an antique Hotel with its bedrooms and especially "Versaje"breakfast room in an aristocratic atmosphere and servings. Hotel is not in the Historical Center but at a quiet area of Porta Pia two stops from Termini Centrale. The outdoor bus stop allows you to go to many directions Piazza Venezia, Colosseum, Piazza di Spagna (Trinity station), Via Nazzionale...I Would reccomend Hotel Turner to my friends . Silvana, Albania

Room so small , distance to station much more than 600 m, not good in hot weather a/c not working

The staff were fantastic with giving me an idea of how to best see the landmarks of Rome in the short time I was there and also looked after my luggage on the final day so I could get some final sights in before I left. Breakfast was exemplary. Overall fantastic and highly recommended.

Room was small although not too much of an issue as I spent little time there.

    Very good

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is walking distance to subway station on line a and b, the bus station is less than 50 m and can reach termini( wich is near), city center and vatican. The hotel looks in good condition, nice room and french bed for solo use.

However the room is not small, but little space remains for luggages, the bathroom is ok but the shower corner is narrow. The breakfast was ok but same.

This hotel is fantastic value for the price. The breakfast was a true continental breakfast, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was beautiful. I chose the hotel because it was so close to a metro stop and I didn't want to have to carry my backpack too far. At first I was disappointed because the hotel felt like it was a little too far away from the action of Rome, but I was wrong. It was close enough for everything to be within walking distance, and it was far enough that my room was silent at night. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

    Good

Good position, many busses for center(no 60, 5 stops) or termini(no 90 ,2 stops) right in front of the hotel, very clean hotel ,clean room and bathroom(i stay at the fifth floor, room no 510 with view at the back of the hotel with no noice from the street),nice and various breakfast except cofee which was making from a mashine cofee maker and not from the bar and that the croissants was cold and not warm up porta pia is a very good area of rome near the center of the city ,very clean area with many bar ,pizzas and restaurant nearby the hotel, not like the termini area that I stay in a 3 star hotel in october 2011,full of pimps and hookers, dirty and noisy fast check in and check out ,in general a very good choise especially if you get a good price from booking offers deffinitly I recommend this hotel and if I find a good offer from Booked.net at my next visit ,I will stay there again because it fullfils my standards for a hotel in rome near center while other 3 hotels that I staid in rome was not I hope we will meet again soon hotel turner grazie per tutto alla prossima

Only the small room and the smaller bathroom, but I think that this is not problem for a young couple who want the most time to see the sights of rome and use the room only for sleep and bath

    Very good

I liked the decor and the room was very clean. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed going to the garden rooftop bar both of the evenings we were there. The breakfast was a great way to start the day of sightseeing. The location was good.

My room did not have a window to the street. It was quite dark with only having a shaft type space outside the window. The wifi was very spotty and in the evening did not usually connect. It was frustrating not to be able to contact family at home in the States.

    Not a lot

The air-conditioning wasn't working in the room, which is not exactly pleasant in Rome during the summer. We immediately mentioned it to the people at the reception. There were 2 people at the reception, the first told us a story about a manager being out of town and they wouldn't be able to fix it for a few days. The second person said he would send someone to our room within 15 minutes, but after waiting for about 45 minutes we left. When we came back that evening it still wasn't fixed and there was someone new behind the desk who didn't know anything. He wasn't able to give us another room but he would leave a message for the crew in the morning. When talked to the person behind the desk in the morning (again someone different) he said he didn't get a message. But a repairman would come by today and he would look at our room. When we came back in the afternoon still nothing had happened. Behind the desk the first person we've met was there again. She gave the same story (which was different from the other 3 stories) and said she couldn't do anything, some rooms the ac worked, in some rooms it didn't. So we said we wanted a different room, she said she couldn't do that because her job stopped at the moment she had mentioned the problem. After some arguments she finally agreed to look at a different room where the ac worked. So in other words, we've had a problem and immediately mentioned it to the staff. But every staff member had a different story and although some said they would do anything about the problem they actually didn't do anything at all. And there is the bathroom issue. The first bathroom was quite cramped, but at least you could step normally into the shower. The bathroom in the second room was just not ok. You had to step over the mini-toilet to get into in the shower, you couldn't close the shower door completely and the shower head was leaking on the top so water flew over shower wall into the bathroom.

The Hotel is in a safe neighborhood located and only one station away from the main-station "Rome-Termini". In the near area are few restaurants. The district is not a "full-of-life"-district, so if you look for a quiet neighborhood you are right there. The hotel is in a very opulent style. The room was a bit small and dark, since it was located in the backside of the building.

The breakfast wasn't that good. Only sweet things, cake and croissants were offered. For ham, cheese, egs etc. you have to pay extra 2.50 EUR (according to the staff per each). In this case it is recommend to go somewhere else nearby.

    Superb

Very comfortable, very clean, nearby bus stop and subway station to the center of the city, and 10 minutes walking from the train station Roma Termini.

    Fabulous

The location was good for the 3 days we spent in Rome. We were only a ten walk from the center,Teriminal were our tour left out of.

The free wifi was sometimey and the hotel had no american adapters to charger laptop, make sure you travel with your own. The hotel was bad but next time I would stay at a chain hotel.
